Employment: Full Time
Job purpose
Design and illustrate company's corporate identity and brand names in publications and projects. Prepare various diagrams, promotion logos, billboards and photos for publication requirements. Establish technical film and photographic library services to keep historical records.Execute the printing and typography of company's publications and keep track of the latest developments in IT software and graphic design concepts. Develop web pages, archiving system and access system.
Job specific accountabilities (part 1)- Study in consultation with supervisor the illustrations, photos, graphics etc. and styling requirements for publications, advertisements, exhibitions, communication artworks, company magazine, bulletins, pamphlets, brochures, press releases, corporate videos, etc.
- Formulate appropriate illustrations or designs and submit sketches for requisitioning staff with supervisor's approval. Develop high standard designs in compliance with the image and brand specifications.
- Design lettering for captions, titles, advertisements, materials for exhibitions, audiovisual programs and presentations as assigned.
- Select and evaluate designs or photos using innovative techniques to redefine and develop them into more presentable designs.
- Supervise or personally perform photographic assignments for publication or other audiovisual projects.
- Design high quality graphics for the web, print and multimedia projects. Utilize software facilities in design works for high standard output.
- Supervise and follow up in all stages of the printing process of publications to ensure a high quality printing production by local printing houses and maintain good contacts and relationships.
- Provide multimedia production services to employees as requested, including film production, aerial photography and electronic presentations.
- Organize web production services with interactive sites and pages to store design works.
- Establish technical film and photographic library services to keep historical records of ADNOC Drilling, Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE in the petroleum industry.
- Lead the creation of appropriate print and multimedia resources for the company and provide consultancy on effective graphic presentation.
- Perform other similar or related duties such as using web analysis and surveys and other tools to evaluate the use of multimedia items and other data in the archive.
- Perform other similar or related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills
Minimum qualificationDiploma in IT/Graphic Designing plus 3 years' experience in graphic design work.
Minimum experience, knowledge & skills- Good knowledge of computer software for design, graphics and layout including desktop publisher.
- Excellent computer skill set.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
