Job Description
Job Purpose
Direct, manage and develop financial communication strategies and plans related to conveying the Companyu2019s financial performance and results in a clear, accurate, and timely manner in compliance with the regulatory requirements and in line with the set business objectives.
Key Accountabilities- - Develop and implement comprehensive financial communication strategies that align with the Company's objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Establish financial communication procedures and processes which promote accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and compliance with financial reporting.
- Develop public relations strategy and communication plans in liaison with the Investor Relations, Communication, Marketing, and Finance business units.
- Direct and manage the Companyu2019s financial performance and accomplishments communication with the external relevant parties in line with the regulatory requirements.
- Direct the preparation and dissemination of financial reports and earnings releases in conformity with the Companyu2019s regulations.
- Manage financial communications in the form of newsletters and other print publications through the Companyu2019s web and other means of online communication.
- Lead the crafting of compelling messaging that communicates the Company's financial performance, growth prospects, and strategic initiatives.
- Direct and lead the organization of financial communication meetings, roadshows, and conference calls to convey the Company's financial results and outlook.
- Ensure the timely and accurate update of the financial information on the Company's website.
- Contribute to the development of the annual financial report in line with the set strategies.
- - Prepare materials and plans to target media in conjunction with External Comms team (owner of media relations) for the effective coverage of the Company's financial performance and strategies in adherence to the set regulations.
- Prepare and counsel senior management for media interviews and press conferences to communicate financial results and strategic initiatives
- Monitor changes in financial reporting regulations and ensure compliance, as applicable.
- Lead the identification of challenges and emerging issues and ensure effective and efficient remedial measures.
- Advise the senior management on practical approaches to constantly improve the financial performance communication.
- Liaise with the Investor Relations Division with a specific focus on share prices and investor interest.
- Ensure close collaboration with the legal and compliance team for financial disclosures related matters.
- Ensure the adherence of financial communications with the relevant regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor Degree with experience in Finance and Communication
- Experience of a listed company or advising listed companies or preparing companies for IPO
- Ideally have worked in UK/USA/Singapore or other markets with historical regulated stock exchanges
- Business and Market Understanding and Acumen Financial Communications , Media Relations and Monitoring
- Reputation Issues and Crisis Communications
- Business Advisory to C suite
