Industrial Engineer (EMIRATI)
Job Description
An established global leader in high-technology sectors including aerospace, defence, transportation, and security is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join its operations and industrialization team. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting production transfers, and leading digital transformation initiatives across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead industrialization activities for new product introductions and production transfers, managing planning, risk, scheduling, and legacy process integration while ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
- Ensure product and process compliance, supporting production teams in resolving process/tooling issues and managing engineering changes, while guaranteeing adherence to manufacturing and test procedures.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to validate prototypes, conduct production readiness reviews and inspections, and ensure product manufacturability and testability throughout the lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation by contributing to Industry 4.0 initiatives, optimizing manufacturing tools and workflows, and applying cost-efficient design strategies.
- Support digital systems integration by aligning industrial initiatives with enterprise digital architecture (ERP, PLM, MES), including the configuration and deployment of supporting platforms.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial methods and production process industrialization
- Proven expertise in managing and optimizing industrial processes, tools, and associated systems
- Strong background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost-driven design principles
- Familiarity with ERP, MES, PLM, and other digital manufacturing systems
- Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies and their application in production environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a professional, English-speaking environment
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
- Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP, or equivalent industrial credentials
