Role overview:
The individual is responsible for driving the highest standard of compliance & controllership in GP7/GE90 platform. The role requires the ability to work across the matrix and develop a good understanding of customers, industry, function and commercial markets.
- Lead contract margin review (CMR) process execution, forecasting, and leadership explanations/commentary
- Lead financial modeling in commercial contract restructuring opportunity considering customer request and overall commercial strategy
- Support the accurate and completeness of the financials for the GP7/GE90 customized service agreement (CSA) portfolio and utilize financial reporting to help the team drive operational action
- Develop ad hoc contract analysis to support commercial and operational teams to maximize contract profitability
- Responsible for providing insight into forecasting & performance of the GP7/GE90 CSA portfolio to operating leader & product line CFOs through partnership with operational peers
- Support FP&A cost estimates for monthly/quarterly reporting
- Support monthly/quarterly reconciliation process with the Engine Alliance (EA) and revenue shared partners
- Apply FLIGHT DECK fundamentals to identify and improve the process.
Required qualifications:
This role requires advanced experience in the finance & commercial finance management. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior experience/knowledge of aviation business, services is a plus
- Strong organization skills and the ability to develop plans/priorities and execute against them
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to and partner with senior leaders
- Flexibility and willingness to accept new challenges
- Strong interpersonal and ability to work across all levels and functions of the organization
- Demonstrated financial analysis skills and knowledge of internal controls process
