Field Operations Manager, Robotics Venture

About the Company

VentureOne is building a new venture focused on next-generation robotics, developing intelligent service robots designed to operate safely and efficiently in human environments. The mission of this venture is to improve productivity, safety, and efficiency across high-impact industries by deploying versatile robotic systems

• Runs day-to-day field operations across robot deployment sites
• Designs and runs the shift system including rosters, handover protocols, and overlap management
• Owns shift coverage, incident response, and operational performance
• Coordinates with the Deployment team on site readiness, commissioning, and handover from pilot to operational status
• Owns fleet uptime and service-level performance targets across operational sites
• Drives continuous improvement based on field signal, recurring incidents, and operator feedback
• Ensures field operations comply with HSE requirements, internal safety procedures, and applicable regulatory standards
• Maintains and improves the operational backbone including SOPs, runbooks, checklists, dashboards, and reporting systems
• Supports scaling of operations and takes on related responsibilities as the team grows

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Postgraduate qualifications or relevant certifications are a plus

• 8+ years of experience in operations or service delivery, ideally in a multi-site or shift-based environment
• Experience leading operational teams and developing people
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and across changing priorities
• Strong ownership, organizational skills, and ability to operate in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication skills in English
• Robotics or technology exposure is preferred
• Familiarity with HSE procedures, SOP management, and service readiness processes is preferred
• Track record of owning operational KPIs such as uptime, SLA adherence or equivalent measures
• Strong understanding of fleet monitoring, incident handling, and operational escalation.
