Draft Engineer

About the Job:

Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed the company and Client safety standards.
• Comply with all company/customer procedures, engineering practices and other standards
• Read and fully understand piping and instrumentation diagram and other documents which describe the scope of work
• Follow specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
• Prepare both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
• Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• Communicate with technical team/engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
• Prepare, review and redraft alongside with the Technical/Engineering team.
• Ensure final designs are compliant with operation regulations.
• Demonstrate proficient skills in CAD utilizing client's current version of AutoCad and Document Management System.
• Proficiently identify field mechanical equipment, electrical, instrumentation and piping components.
• Create, modify, and maintain drawings using proper drafting.
• Interpret Engineering mark-ups and accurately make drawing corrections.
• Create/modify drawings and general drafting.
• Adherence to the site MOC procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain cooperative, efficient, and good team working environment
• Other relevant duties as assigned by top management.
