JOB PURPOSE :
Oversee and participate in the development of and implementation of sustaining systems and capabilities required to support best in class Human performance practices ensuring the integration of Human performance principles into all sites operations and business functions.Lead the efforts exerted by Human Performance program across Group Companies to develop and implement relevant reinforcement strategies.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES- Develop / update and Act as Custodian of Group wide Human Performance Standards at international competitive levels
- Act as Group Technical Authority (GTA) or Subject Matter expert of Human Performance Discipline
- Participate in the Human Performance technical Discipline Council
- Support, coach and mentor capabilities and skill pool development of Human Performance experts across the ADNOC Group with a specific focus on UAE Nationals
- Provide Human Performance Compliance & Assurance services
- Participate/ Lead in incident reviews and investigations and provide SME input with respect to Human Performance
- Oversee/develop/recommend Group wide Human Performance KPIs, indicators and Dashboards
- Develop insights for GCs CEOs and BLDs on group wide Human Performance
- Recommend Technology/digitalisation solutions to improve group wide Human Performance
- Identify and recommend opportunities for HSE cost optimization, digitalization and innovative technologies as well as unification and standardization of best practices and awareness programs across the ADNOC Group.
- Develop Group wide Human Performance improvement plans and initiatives including awareness campaigns
- Participate in the development of the Function annual operational plans and optimal budget in line with Division objectives ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all Directorate activities within the agreed parameters and service levels including effective interfaces with Company's stakeholders and internal contributors.
- Controls expenditure against approved budget on a regular basis and investigate & reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.
- Implements and continuously monitors the achievement of the Division KPIs related to the approved Annual Performance Management Contract and the Balanced Score Card for the Unit to reinforce an organization-wide drive for performance.
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
- Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC HSE standards.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal- Regular contacts with concerned staff of the GCs and their contractors and across business functions.
- contact with UAE/Abu Dhabi regulators, governmental agencies and ADNOC shareholders
- contact with International Organizations/Institutions for HSE regulations and standards
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, with HSE related specialization or equivalent discipline.
- 8 years of experience in HSE, HSE Standards Development, and other Safety (HSE) management functions in a similar position in the oil & gas industry.
- Experience in all or at least one of the following fields: Drilling, Operations, Construction, Petrochemicals and refinery is preferred.
- Professional safety certifications from reputed international organizations are preferable.
