Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide training courses to ABY Engineering Personnel as per the minimum regulatory requirements and compliance period. This role is also responsible for developing and improving the standards of maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain regulatory training requirements.
• Carry out necessary training (instruct) for the engineering personnel.
• Develop in-house training capability (company and personal).
• Working with ABY Academy, ensure all training records are maintained with accuracy.
• Identify training needs for the business and regulation.
• Maintain the training needs analysis annually.
• Identify staff for career development and create associated plan.
• Identify maintenance standard minimum requirements and provide action plan.
• Provide a yearly training plan (working with direct line managers) to be agreed and published annually.
• Review maintenance errors with QA and SMS; and identify training need as results of investigations.
• Maintain good relationships with line managers to understand training needs.
• Provide input to individual performance for the EPMS.

• At least 5 years previous training (technical) experience.
• Previous airline experience is preferable.
• License is an advantage.
• Possesses appropriate knowledge and understanding of EASA and GCAA regulatory training requirements.
• Good English and computer skills (MS Office Suite).
• Must be good in report writing.
