Job Purpose:
The primary goal of this position is to support the HSE team in overseeing, promoting, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards and procedures in accordance with legal, organizational, and industry requirements. The purpose of this job is to support the HSE Manager and all organizational employees in dealing with health, safety, and environmental issues, both with clients, authorities, and day-to-day tasks.The job also involves conducting assessments, making recommendations, and educating employees through constructive HSE training and awareness initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Promoting HSE awareness & campaigns among the employees.
- Conducting HSE inductions / training to new and current employees as per the annual HSE training plan.
- Conduct daily site inspections/safety observation walks in all operations areas to ensure all HSE rules and regulations were adhered by the workforce.
- Conduct workplace, camp HSE inspection and compliance checks as per the annual inspection plan.
- Monitor and update the HSE observations/incidents in SENYAR portal and ensure timely closure of all HSE actions.
- Conduct weekly / monthly internal HSE training to the workforce and keep the records in HSE share folder.
- Carry out HSE observation tours and report the observations to respective team members. Keeping track of all HSE incidents & observations and maintaining their records as well.
- Conduct HSE spot inspections and alcohol checks in the operation site and report all observations to HSE Manager & Area/Process Owner for further actions.
- Prepare and submit monthly HSE reports to HSE Officer for consolidation of department performance reports.
- Conduct emergency drills in operation areas as per the approved annual drill plan.
- Ensure to comply with SRA- DMT, ADOSH and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for assisting the ERT during any emergencies.
- Assist the HSE Manager/ HOD to investigate all the incidents and advise corrective actions for implementation.
- Follow the directions given by the HSE Manager and be willing to work in various locations and shifts as needed for the business.
- Diploma/Graduate in any discipline
- NEBOSH IGC
- Lead Auditor Certification (ISO 45001 & 14001)
- Certified First Aider & Fire Warden
- UAE driving license
- Minimum 6 Years of experience in HSE field
