Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting Records Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely booking of all journal entries for the corporation and its subsidiaries, maintaining the integrity of financial data.
• Account Reconciliation: Verify the accuracy of various accounts, including bank statements, subledgers, credit card statements, clearing accounts, and other critical financial records.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Coordinate effectively with external auditors, providing all necessary documentation and explanations for both the head office and subsidiaries. Ensure all financial records comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Fixed Assets Management: Manage the accurate recording of fixed assets in financial systems, ensuring proper capitalization and precise calculation of depreciation.
• Financial Consolidation: Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis, providing a comprehensive financial overview of the group.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments and colleagues to foster cross-functional processes and provide essential accounting support.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial operations.
• Solid familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Knowledge of local tax regulations (e.g., UAE Corporate Tax, VAT).
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
