Our Middle East team is growing, and we are seeking a driven individual to join our Origination team in Dubai as an Investment Analyst.

The Position
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our Middle East team as an Investment Analyst, based in Dubai. As a part of our Origination team you will assist with developing, negotiating and structuring infrastructure projects, that position Plenary as a major participant in the infrastructure development market across the Middle East. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking the financial modelling of transactions
- Supporting the negotiation of complex financial structuring terms for infrastructure transactions
- Managing and supporting transactions through the research, due diligence, structuring, credit and documentation stages
- Liaising with financial institutions and external service providers to maintain strong working relationships
- Promoting and marketing Plenary Middle East as a major participant in the project finance market
- Building strong networks and close working relationships within the project finance industry
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in project finance and ongoing changes to the regulatory environment
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience and commitment to the role and be able to demonstrate commercial acumen and an understanding of the project finance process from end-to-end- A minimum of 3 years experience in a financial, commercial, engineering or quantitative discipline
- High levels of motivation to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a financial, legal, commercial, engineering or quantitative discipline. Academic transcripts (undergraduate and post-graduate) are mandatory when applying.
- Outstanding academic results
- Demonstrable interest in infrastructure development or development projects
- Experience with interpreting, breaking down and resolving complex problems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel ability and financial modelling skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; and
- Initiative, enthusiasm, drive and commitment.
