Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the General Counsel and Legal Counsels in a wide array of legal work, including legal research, corporate governance and filings, contract review and administration, as well as general department upkeep.

• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for the GC and legal counsels, as appropriate.
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents including contracts, corporate governance related documentation, and correspondence.
• Assist in the preparation of board materials, board resolutions, filings, and corporate governance documentation.
• Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and records.
• Monitor deadlines, maintain a legal compliance calendar, and ensure timely filings and responses.
• Liaise with internal departments and external counsel as needed.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Assist GC and legal counsels with general administrative matters including preparing contracts for signatures, obtaining internal approvals and signatures.

• Approximately 2-5 years of experience in a legal/corporate environment, whether at a law firm or in-house.
• Bachelors Degree or professional qualifications as a paralegal, legal executive or equivalent qualification.
