Job Description
Currie & Brown are looking for a HSE Manager to join the team in Al Ain, UAE working closely with a key client on projects related to Aviation.
What will you be doing- You will help the QHSE lead in implementing & maintaining the company's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
- Participate in verifying the level of compliance with all applicable legislation, rules and system requirements related to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across various projects.
- Participate in QHSE regular project meetings in relation to Quality and HSE management.
- Help increasing safety and minimize risks by fostering a safety and environment mindset among site teams.
- Provide advice and expert input to client projects.
- Review, commenting and following up the received QHSE site reports
- Raise reports to Delivery Management Team and client QHSE Lead on regular basis as required
- Previous experience of working on Hospital projects is a must
- Extensive knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and 14001 Standards.
- Proven ability to carry out system audits as per the above standards.
- Familiarity with common site inspections, measurement, and relevant testing techniques related to construction activities.
- Proven records of writing and reviewing quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures or plans.
- Effective use of communication resources.
- Good command of English language
- Computer literate with experience of business productivity tools such as MS-Office.
- Graduate of an accredited engineering college, ideally Civil or Architect.
- Accredited Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma or similar).
