Legal Advisor having experience in construction companies

As a Legal Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our construction projects adhere to legal standards while also safeguarding the company's interests. Your expertise will guide our teams through complex legal issues, helping to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of construction law, including contract formation, execution, and termination.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
3. Assist in dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation, while representing the company’s interests in legal proceedings.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the construction industry in Dubai.
5. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
6. Provide training and guidance to staff on legal compliance and best practices in contract management.
7. Review and advise on procurement processes to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
8. Maintain accurate records of legal documents and correspondence, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and reviews.
9. Engage with external legal counsel as needed to address complex legal matters or litigation.
10. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align legal strategies with the company’s business objectives.

1. Proven experience as a Legal Advisor in the construction sector, with a strong understanding of UAE laws and regulations.
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues effectively.
3. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
4. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary.
6. Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents with a high level of accuracy.
7. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.

9. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
