Job Description
Bidfood ME is one of the leading foodservice companies in the UAE and Middle East and is looking for a Forklift Operator who will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and stacking of goods and materials within the warehouse using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.This role ensures inventory is properly handled, stored, and transported, supporting seamless warehousing and distribution operations in alignment with health, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload delivery vehicles and transport goods around the warehouse.
- Stack and organize pallets in racking systems or designated storage areas.
- Inventory Movement & Accuracy:
- Support picking and packing operations by ensuring timely material movement.
- Ensure accurate tagging, scanning, and system updates during stock handling.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to company safety protocols and UAE health and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report malfunctions or hazards immediately.
- Stock Maintenance:
- Help in maintaining cleanliness and order in warehouse areas.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed, especially for perishable goods.
- Support in Logistics Operations:
- Assist with cycle counts and physical stock checks.
- Work closely with warehouse team members, drivers, and inventory controllers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid UAE Forklift Operator License (mandatory).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations using forklifts.
- Skilled in operating counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, or VNA equipment.
- Basic understanding of WMS or barcode scanning systems.
- Knowledge of product handling and storage best practices (especially chilled/frozen goods).
- Understanding of FIFO/FEFO inventory principles
