Job Description
Role Description The Senior Account Clerk role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. This role is responsible for processing and reconciling financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and supporting monthly and quarterly reporting.The Senior Account Clerk will prepare invoices, track receivables and payables, assist with account management activities, and respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounts. The position involves working closely with finance and customer service teams to ensure timely resolutions, clear documentation, and compliance with internal procedures.
The Senior Account Clerk will also help identify discrepancies, support audits, and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to identify discrepancies and trends in financial data.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication abilities, including clear written and verbal communication and the capacity to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Finance-related skills, such as basic accounting knowledge, experience with ledgers and reconciliations, and familiarity with invoicing and payment processes.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service capabilities, including professional client interaction, timely issue resolution, and a focus on providing a positive service experience.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills, including maintaining accurate account records, tracking balances, and supporting ongoing account-related follow-up.
- Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and standard office tools (e.g., spreadsheets) is beneficial.
- Relevant experience in a clerical or accounting role, preferably in a finance or business services environment, is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to manage part-time hours effectively, prioritize tasks in a hybrid work setting, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
