Chief Missile Systems Scientist

Job Description

Lead the full lifecycle development of missile systems including propulsion, guidance, airframe, and payload integration from concept to deployment.

Candidates must have demonstrated experience leading full-cycle defense R&D programs from concept to deployment.

• Define missile architecture and performance envelope
• Lead propulsion system design (solid, liquid, ramjet)
• Oversee aerodynamics and structural design
• Integrate guidance and seeker systems
• Manage payload design and performance analysis
• Lead testing (captive carry, live fire) Required Competencies
• Missile system design and engineering • Propulsion engineering
• Aerothermodynamics and trajectory analysis
• Seeker technologies (RF, IR)
• 6-DOF simulation and modeling Education & Experience

• PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Propulsion Engineering
• MSc acceptable with strong experience
• 15+ years of relevant experience in missile systems R&D
• At least 5–7 years in senior leadership roles
• Experience in defense missile programs • Proven leadership of large engineering teams.
