Senior Specialist - Communications (Executive Communications and Media Relations)

Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Senior Communications Specialist will manage all executive communications and media relations to promote a positive public image of our organization and leadership members.
In this role, you will work closely with the company's leadership and other executives, and assist them in developing high-level speeches, op-eds, and social media profiling. You will deliver support on the execution of the media plan to bolster the company's visibility and reputation in UAE and key target markets.
Job Responsibilities
Executive communications- Build a strong working relationship with the leadership team to influence them on strategic messaging and garner support for various communications projects and initiatives.
- Draft and communicate POV's for senior levels
- Create social media and communications strategies to support the LT's digital presence and set a tactical plan to deliver on objectives.
- Assist senior management in researching relevant topics and putting together key talking points (in collaboration with the research team)
- Advise leadership on opportune communication topics, forums, and audiences to effectively convey the organization's message
- Manage media inquiries and arrange interviews, statements, etc. in collaboration with the line manager
- Assist in putting together content for advertorials
- Working with the PR and Media agency on media opportunities to enhance executive visibility in the paid, earned and owned media.
- Assist leadership team with media interviews
- Write, edit, manage and schedule content for the executives, blog, vlog, social media accounts, media engagements, and speaking opportunities.
- Work with the line manager to ensure accuracy, consistency and integration of all LT communications with key messaging, strategic objectives and priorities.
- Attend key events attended by the CEO and other executives and generate content including live coverage, photography and videos, to engage external audiences in a meaningful and impactful way.
- Create slide decks for the executives presentations.
- Any other responsibilities as required by the Line Manager
- Working in close collaboration with the digital media team, the content manager and the events team.
Job Specifications
Skills- Experience and knowledge in copywriting, proofreading and editing
- Excellent portfolio with a proven track record of successful executive communications examples
- Relevant experience in the cybersecurity field, or technology sector is a must
- B2B or B2G work environment experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- 8+ years
- Master's degree in communications, journalism, or equivalent
