Execution Trader - Abu Dhabi

You will leverage your strong coding skills-particularly in Python-to enhance and streamline trade workflows, working closely with portfolio managers and quantitative researchers. Your expertise will help reduce execution costs and improve overall trading efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing orders across a broad range of asset classes including equities, futures, FX, and fixed income
• Automating trade execution processes and optimizing existing workflows using Python
• Collaborating with brokers and counterparties to ensure smooth order routing and fulfillment
• Monitoring real-time trade execution and resolving any issues promptly
• Supporting development of internal tools and analytics related to trade execution and performance

• 5 to 8 years of execution trading experience within a systematic hedge fund or quantitative trading environment
• Strong programming skills, ideally Python, with experience automating execution workflows
• Deep understanding of order management systems (OMS), FIX protocols, and broker APIs
• Multi-asset class experience covering equities, futures, FX, and fixed income products
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with brokers and internal stakeholders
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
