Desktop Support Engineer - Abu Dhabi

Job Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will provide frontline technical support across our Head Office and branch offices, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. Youll play a key role in supporting users, resolving IT issues, maintaining assets, and enabling business continuity.

• Provide Tier 1 support for Head Office and branch offices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues for PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Set up and configure new employee workstations (hardware, software, network access).
• Support users with applications such as Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and Zoom.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with IT security policies.
• Log, track, and resolve IT incidents through the helpdesk system.
• Coordinate with other IT teams for escalated cases and ensure timely resolution.
• Educate users on IT best practices and cybersecurity awareness.

• Diploma (minimum) or Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in IT/Desktop Support
• Strong technical knowledge of PCs, desktop hardware, and common business applications
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation are a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driving license
