Job Description

We are working on behalf of one of the world&aposs largest and most influential energy companies to identify a Gasoline Trader for their expanding trading operations in Dubai. This is a unique opportunity to join a global leader in the energy sector, offering significant exposure to physical trading across international markets.

As part of a high-performing trading team, you will be instrumental in driving the company&aposs gasoline trading activities, leveraging both asset-backed strategies and market insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute physical gasoline trading strategies across global markets.
• Manage price risk exposure and optimise trading margins.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with counter parties including refiners, traders, and end-users.
• Negotiate term and spot contracts to support commercial objectives.
• Monitor and analyse market fundamentals, supply-demand balances, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with shipping and operations teams to ensure efficient execution of physical movements.
• Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor junior traders and analysts within the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Proven track record in physical gasoline trading.
• Deep understanding of global gasoline markets and refining systems.
• Excellent analytic, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, international trading environment.
• Familiarity with risk management principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and financial modelling tools.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
