Job Summary
We are currently hiring an experienced and highly motivated Quantity Surveying Manager, who will lead the commercial and contractual management of multiple infrastructure projects while ensuring effective cost control, financial reporting, contractual compliance, and commercial performance.You will play a critical role in supporting project delivery, managing risks, overseeing commercial teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage complex infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Contract Management- Lead all quantity surveying and commercial activities across multiple infrastructure projects
- Manage budgeting, cost planning, forecasting, and financial control processes
- Oversee contract administration, including valuations, variations, claims, and dispute resolution
- Ensure commercial compliance with contract terms and project requirements
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and subcontractor management plans
- Monitor and manage commercial performance across multiple concurrent projects
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines
- Identify commercial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Support operational teams with commercial guidance and decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and develop Quantity Surveyors and junior commercial staff
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
- Provide coaching, technical guidance, and career development support to team members
- Prepare and present detailed commercial and financial reports to senior management
- Deliver accurate cost/value reconciliations, forecasting, and KPI reporting
- Ensure timely reporting aligned with company and project objectives
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships across all project stakeholders
- Lead commercial meetings, negotiations, and contractual discussions confidently
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, company policies, and UAE regulations
- Maintain strict control over project deliverables, deadlines, and reporting timelines
- Promote industry best practices in commercial management and governance
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience within infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC
- Proven experience managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
- Strong expertise in commercial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
- In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
