Construction Manager - Offshore Assignment
Job Description
We are looking for Construction Manager -with Offshore engineering and Construction experience.
Location: UAE – Offshore AssignmentSalary: AED 18,000 – 25,000 per month
Duty Rotation: 5 months offshore work / 1 month paid leave
He will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing construction activities from project mobilization through completion. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to approved drawings, quality standards, and client requirements.
Project Evaluation: Directs and manages project development from beginning to end.
Defines project scope, goals and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
Government Legalities Oversees and tracks the certification of AD Civil Defense and the
re-certification process for assigned projects.
Project Communication Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Defines project
success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout
project life cycle.
Project Planning Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crisis and devises contingency plans.
Budget and Costing Drafts and submits budget proposals, and recommends subsequent
budget changes where necessary. Estimates the resources andparticipants needed to achieve project goals.
Human Resource Determines and assesses need for additional staff and/or consultants
and makes the appropriate recruitment if necessary during project cycle. Negotiates with other department managers for the acquisition ofrequired personnel from within the company.
Team & Project Management Delegates tasks, manages team communication and conflicts, and tracks
project timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths.
Documentation and Reporting Develops progress reports, proposals, documentation, and
presentations; reviews project updates, analyzes results, and resolves problem areas.
Leadership and Guidance Motivates, supervises and serves as a coach and mentor to project team
members and contractors, and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Business Integration Builds and develops growth of any business relationships vital to the
success of the group.
Policies and Procedures Adheres to all rules and regulations as per company IMS system.
Requirements- Offshore and ADNOC experience is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong project management and construction management experience with good
- Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
- Knowledge of:- MS Office
○ - AutoCAD
○ - Primavera / Project Management tools
○ - Risk Management & Internal Controls- PMP – Project Management Professional certification preferred/required
- Management and Train-the-Trainer related training is advantageous.
