Associate Events Account Director

Job Description
Viola is looking for a driven Associate Account Director Events to join our buzzing creative agency, which is riding the resurgent wave of market re-openings. This role is ideal for a senior client servicing professional with strong events experience who is ready to support large-scale projects, nurture client relationships, and deliver outstanding event activations across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned client accounts (retainer/non-retainer) and ensure delivery against agreed yearly revenue targets.
- Support the Events Director in developing event concepts, pitches, creative presentations, and client proposals.
- Contribute to proposal costing and preparation of financial elements for RFPs.
- Stay up to date on industry innovations and trends to propose fresh, creative, and competitive event solutions.
- Coordinate with venues, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of event production within budget.
- Translate client requirements into clear briefs for internal teams and ensure alignment across departments.
- Assist in the development of sponsorship proposals and partnership opportunities when required.
- Work closely with the Creative team on artwork and event-related materials.
- Collaborate with other business units on cross-selling opportunities, joint accounts, and tender submissions.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members; oversee their workload and ensure quality delivery.
- Maintain and update event production checklists, action plans, and timelines.
- Deliver progress, sales, and performance reports to the Events Director.
- Support new business initiatives by attending client meetings and presenting agency capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 78 years in event management, with at least 2 years in a senior client servicing or account management role.
- Market Knowledge: Minimum 2 years experience in the UAE market; experience with public sector clients preferred.
- Agency Background: Regional/multinational agency experience highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen in costing, budgeting, and responding to RFPs.
- Expertise: Proven track record in client servicing, event execution, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task, manage deadlines, and deliver under pressure.
