Role Overview

The FP&A Specialist will play a critical role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across Cravias operations in the UAE and KSA. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance reporting, while also overseeing F&B cost control.

The FP&A Specialist will act as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance and collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, Marketing and other support functions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across all legal entities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and scenario analysis.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for senior leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and business case development.
Business Partnering
  • Collaborate with operations and support functions to align financial goals with business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to operational managers to drive performance.
  • Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments to ensure alignment and transparency.
F&B Cost Control Oversight
  • Supervise the F&B Cost Controller and ensure effective monitoring of food and beverage costs.
  • Review and analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), wastage, and inventory variances.
  • Support procurement and operations in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving margin performance.
Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant financial data and analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field;
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, preferably within the Restaurants or retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience managing or working closely with cost control functions in a multi-entity environment.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
