Job Title: Spa Supervisor
Reports To: Spa Manager
Location: Female-Only Spa

Department: Operations Spa

Job Purpose

As a Spa Supervisor at SENSASIA, you will be responsible for the daily leadership and operational excellence of the spa branch. This includes driving sales and revenue performance, optimizing scheduling and bookings, managing and mentoring spa staff, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You are a dynamic, guest-facing leader who leads by example, motivates your team, and ensures every guest interaction reflects our brand standards and values.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales & Revenue Growth
  • Proactively drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets across services and retail.
  • Maximize treatment room utilization and minimize booking gaps by implementing effective scheduling practices.
  • Identify and act on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Support marketing initiatives, in-branch promotions, and loyalty programs to boost customer retention and revenue.
  1. Operational Excellence
  • Ensure smooth and efficient spa operations across all touchpoints: front desk, treatment rooms, retail, and guest areas.
  • Monitor booking trends and resolve dead space in the schedule to optimize capacity.
  • Collaborate with the Reception Supervisor on fair and effective staff scheduling and shift coverage.
  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Foster a high-performance team culture through ongoing mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, track KPIs, and support staff in meeting and exceeding standards.
  • Deliver in-house training and onboarding for new team members in line with SensAsia protocols.
  • Promote a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace environment.
  1. Guest Experience Management
  • Be present and engaged during peak hours to ensure smooth operations and assist with guest needs.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring complete resolution and follow-up.
  • Ensure all team members deliver impeccable service in line with SensAsias brand standards.
  • Lead by example in creating a welcoming, warm, and attentive guest experience.
  1. Compliance & Standards
  • Conduct daily spa audits and checklist reviews; reward excellence and address gaps.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards across the facility.
  • Ensure staff adhere to operational guidelines, SOPs, and grooming standards.
  1. Flexibility & Ownership
  • Take initiative in identifying issues and implementing solutions without needing daily supervision.
  • Be adaptable in supporting operational or team needs including schedule adjustments or additional duties.
  • Act as a liaison between staff and senior management, ensuring transparent communication.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Fluency in Arabic is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role in spa, wellness, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of spa operations, retail dynamics, and team management.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and improve team performance.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Energetic, approachable, and guest-focused personality.
  • Proficiency in Fresha is an advantage.
