We are presently seeking to hire a highly qualified Supply Chain QA Supervisor ensures the company&aposs products, raw materials, and processes throughout the supply chain meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role involves supervising the compliance team, conducting audits (of suppliers and internal manufacturing/warehousing processes), developing quality assurance policies, and collaborating with departments to ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead and supervise the compliance team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Schedule and manage yearly compliance audits and inspections within the supply chain operations.
- Follow-up on monthly reports and supply chain KPIs to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Ensure team adherence to all quality assurance and compliance protocols.
- Compliance Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and compliance policies and procedures for suppliers and internal manufacturing/warehousing.
- Ensure all products and raw materials meet regulatory and company standards.
- Monitor and report on compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., UAE requirements, KSA requirements, GCC, HACCP and ISO22000).
- Monitor supplier and internal supply chain adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Auditing and Inspection:
- Plan and conduct internal audit and supplier audits.
- Document audit findings, prepare reports, and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Ensure raw material and ingredient food safety approval.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in supply chain quality assurance processes and implement solutions.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and root causes of non-compliance at suppliers and internal supply chain points.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure all CPU and branches are HACCP certified and maintain the certification.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on compliance status and performance metrics.
- Ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements and INDPT standards.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or compliance, preferably in the manufacturing, food production, or supply chain industry.
- Proven experience in conducting audits and managing compliance programs.
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and understanding of relevant industry regulations.
- Bachelor&aposs degree in quality assurance, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in quality assurance (HACCP Level 4, ISO 22000 Lead auditor)
- In-depth understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards relevant to supply chain and manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
