Job Summary

The Junior Accountant supports the finance department by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with month-end and year-end accounting activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to develop a career in accounting and finance

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger account
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transaction
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and account balance
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entry.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulation
• Assist with payroll processing and expense reimbursements as required
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial report
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of tax regulations and statutory compliance
• Experience with ERP system
• Professional accounting certification (or pursuing one) is an advantage
