Senior Supervisor - Construction (Painting & Insulation)

Job Description

Lead industrial painting and insulation execution, coordinating surface preparation, paint systems, finishing and insulation installation across assigned work areas.

• Plan and supervise painting and insulation crews in line with construction and handover priorities.
• Verify specified paint systems, colour schedules, product compatibility and approved application methods.
• Coordinate surface preparation, primer and finish coats, curing periods and touch up campaigns.
• Monitor climatic conditions, coverage, material consumption and inspection readiness.
• Coordinate insulation thickness, vapour barriers, cladding and weather sealing to approved details.
• Sequence work around testing, equipment access and adjacent trades to minimize damage and rework.
• Oversee safe handling of paints and solvents, ventilation, access and housekeeping.
• Track progress, close defects and compile supporting work records for turnover.

Requirements

• Technical diploma or equivalent relevant trade qualification.
• 10+ years in industrial painting and insulation, including 4+ years in senior field supervision.
