Team Leader MEP
Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Team Leader with a strong mechanical background, specializing in plumbing and pump systems, to join a leading facilities management operation within a large, complex environment.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the efficient and effective maintenance of all assets and all personnel in a designated area and ensure high operating reliability and safety during a designated shift. To continuously explore ways to deliver efficient and effective maintenance service by following the defined maintenance plans, practices and ways of working to ensure maintenance objectives are met.
Key responsibilites:
Lead and supervise maintenance activities for mechanical systems
Ensure effective execution of:
- Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
- Breakdown troubleshooting
- Routine inspections
- Condition assessment & condition-based maintenance
- Corrective maintenance
Manage performance and reliability of:
- Pump systems
- Large calorifiers
- Water filtration and treatment systems
- Building plumbing networks
- Industrial Training Institute Diploma (3-year duration) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong mechanical background with hands-on maintenance experience
- Proven experience in plumbing & pump systems within FM environments
- Exposure to large complex facilities (airports, hospitals, hotels, etc.)
- Leadership experience in supervising technical teams
- Good understanding of HSE standards and compliance
