Contract Manager

Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Power and Water Generation Contract Manager to be part of the delivery management team on behalf of a major energy group.

Project related to the following plants: CCGT, OCGT, Desalination plants.

Responsibilities:

• Manage development and implementation of effective contract management principles and processes across the Project, starting during the Development phase with critical review of key agreements until the Project Company is mobilized.
• To review and oversee effective development and implementation of contract management principles by the Project Company to reduce exposure to any potential and unidentified risks, while providing specific contract management expertise.
• Closely work with the Management, Projects Controls, and other Project Delivery functions to assess specific projects risks, suggest action plans and take a key role in conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and evaluate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions and enhancements.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Engineering with previous contract management experience, Law with Construction experience or certificate diploma or equivalent
• Member, or past member of a recognized professional body ; MRICS, MCIOB, IMEch, MICE, IStruchE
• 10+ years of experience in contract management within the utilities sector

Working hours: 5 days/week, min 8h/day
