Senior BIM Coordinator

Job Description

China State Construction Middle East is recruiting a Senior BIM Coordinator for a newly awarded large-scale project in Dubai, UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work directly with other project stakeholders (Design Consultants, Contractors, etc.) to support the design
• and/or construction coordination using BIM process.
• Download, compile /integrate and create 3D federated model for clash detection.
• Review and audit BIM models from design consultants and contractors.
• Manage the modelling and coordinated drawing process.
• Making the adjustment and/or update the Revit model when needed.
• Early design review and constructability analysis.
• Maintain / Update BIM Project Documents such as BEP, Model Guideline, Process Map.
• Maintaining naming convention of the BIM models as determined in BEP.
• Conduct the clash detection and analyze the clash result using Navisworks Manage.
• Maintaining clashes within clash detective as it relates to status, responsible party and resolution /action required.
• Propose resolutions for detected clashes throughout the coordination process.
• 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification.
• Conduct Revit or Navisworks training to the project team and clients when required.
• Attend and operating BIM software as required during design workshop/coordination meetings.
• Work side by side with teams in-house and external teams to complete BIM projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Architect Engineering
• 8+ Years of relevant work experience in Mega projects with a particular focus on Hotel & Resorts developments
• Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, BIM
