Job Description

The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for handling the portfolio of borrowing customers and market new business (Loans & Advances).

This role also demands Risk Analysis, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis etc. and cover all aspects of lending as per policy guidelines. Monitoring of account and applicable covenants and ensuring the approval conditions are met. This role also involves supervising day-to-day affairs of the assigned portfolio and conduct all necessary coordination with customers as well as internal as well as external departments.

The job responsibility also includes ensuring that the bank's portfolio is managed with profitability and within risk / policy guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

  • acquire, maintain, and develop existing as well as new relationships with clients through periodic review of clients financial needs and researching market opportunities.
  • client relationships to attain sales targets through successful placement of clients by selling and cross selling the of corporate banking products.
  • out various analyses on customers financial position as part of a complete credit analysis report on new credit facilities or renewals.
  • underwrite and review credit proposals with credit analysts / WB officers for new exposure as well as additional facilities for existing clients. Ensure proper documentation is in place for all credit exposure as per internal and external guidelines.
  • monitoring performance of accounts within their portfolio to detect any signs of trouble, maintaining credit quality of the designated portfolio by minimization of non-performing assets with the aim of minimizing defaults and provisions.
  • and deliver a detailed business plan to achieve the projected yearly budget and sales targets.
  • queries raised by credit risk, credit Admn, compliance, legal, Operations departments for earliest resolution.
  • and review of KYC Documents and checking previous records with lenders and proposing suitable security and collateral structures against credit facilities.
  • coordinating with empaneled agencies for retrieving the technical & legal reports.
  • with post disbursement team for execution of documents and loan disbursement.
  • of loan accounts by ensuring end use of funds sanctioned and compliance to sanctioned terms and conditions.
  • auditors for internal, concurrent, and statutory audits and ensuring compliance of irregularities pointed out by them.
  • housekeeping of the corporate banking including, filling, documentation, and record management
  • periodic reports (as per management requirements) and submission as per timelines advised
  • to any other task as per management instructions

To follow risk-related policies, risk management policies and procedures to control the potential risks.

What you will need to succeed:

Minimum 7-10 years of experience

Strong analytical skill

Capacity to engage with various stakeholders and to coordinate with internal departments as well as external agencies.

Proven ability to communicate in English (both oral & written)

Ability to work independently and drive delivery of assigned projects.

Thorough understanding of the corporate / SME lending in the UAE is a must.

Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a reputed University

Self-motivated with a high energy level and passionate about outstanding performance.

Excellent planning and organization skills.

Must demonstrate ability to manage day-to-day tasks assigned and operate as per policy guidelines adhering to TAT, whilst coordinating with internal as well as external stakeholders

Excellent client handling ability and communication skills
