Product Manager - SME

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Product Manager SME Segment will own the end-to-end product lifecycle of SME banking products from ideation and market analysis to launch, growth, and optimization. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, data-driven, and passionate about building innovative banking solutions for the underserved SME sector in the UAE.

• Create the initial product due diligence of the products having in mind the full cycle of the customer's journey.
• Define and execute the SME product roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities in the SME space.
• Translate insights into scalable and differentiated products and features.

• Work cross-functionally with internal & external stakeholders to build and launch SME banking products (e.g., business accounts, payments, credit lines, FX, and invoice financing).
• Create detailed product requirements and user stories as needed.
• Prioritize features and enhancements using data, feedback, and strategic value.

• Drive go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and internal/external communication plans.
• Collaborate with all internal stakeholders to ensure smooth product rollout and adoption.

• Monitor product KPIs (e.g., customer acquisition, product usage, revenue).
• Continuously analyse feedback and usage data to iterate and improve the product.

• Be the SME domain expert and a trusted partner for internal and external stakeholders including regulators, fintech partners, and vendors.

Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• 58 years of experience in product management, ideally in digital banking, fintech, or B2B financial services.
• Proven experience in launching and managing SME banking products in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong understanding of SME customer needs, cash flow challenges, regulatory environment, and banking solutions.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder communication, and presentation skills.
