PRIMARY FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

Eaton's Global Data Center Segment is focused on helping data centers realize real business benefits today while optimizing their operations for the future. Within this segment, Eaton has an opening for Senior Engineer for Enterprise CRM Systems – Global Data Center Segment. This position is a globally focused subject‑matter expert responsible for enabling consistent, scalable, and high‑quality use of Salesforce across Eaton’s Global Data Center Segment, with a particular emphasis on post‑order services execution, commercial handoffs, and lifecycle visibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DIMENSIONS:

Salesforce Strategy & Enablement (Global Scope)
  • Act as the global Salesforce subject‑matter expert for the Global Data Center Segment, with specific focus on services offers, post‑order execution, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Partner with the Offer Manager – Services to ensure services offers are correctly structured, represented, and scalable within Salesforce across regions.
  • Translate services offer definitions, scope standards, and execution models into Salesforce objects, workflows, and data structures that enable consistency and repeatability.
  • Drive digital Sales Force tools roadmap (internal/external VOC, training, etc.) together with global IT teams aiming to standardize Eaton offering, tools and reports
Post‑Order Process Excellence
  • Enable clean, reliable handoffs from sales to post‑order execution, ensuring Salesforce supports contract clarity, scope visibility, and delivery readiness.
  • Support the Post Order CoE by improving Salesforce‑enabled visibility into order status, execution milestones, risks, and customer commitments.
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or regional inconsistencies in Salesforce usage and drive structured improvements.
Global Governance & Standardization
  • Define and govern global Salesforce standards for data center services use cases, balancing global consistency with regional requirements.
  • Drive adoption of common processes, naming conventions, dashboards, and reporting structures.
  • Partner with Digital, IT, Sales Operations, and Regional Teams to ensure Salesforce enhancements align with enterprise standards and segment priorities.
Analytics, Insights & Continuous Improvement
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards and insights that support leadership visibility into pipeline quality, post‑order performance, execution risk, and customer outcomes.
  • Use data to identify systemic issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives across regions.
  • Support training, documentation, and change management to drive sustained adoption.
Cross‑Functional & Regional Collaboration
  • Operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment, influencing stakeholders across Services, Sales, Operations, Digital, IT, and regional leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to regional teams on Salesforce best practices related to data center services execution.
  • Support global initiatives tied to digitalization, governance, and operational excellence within the Post Order CoE.

POSITION CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Salesforce enablement, sales operations, commercial operations, or digital transformation roles within a complex B2B environment.
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce enablement, sales operations, commercial operations, or digital transformation roles within a complex B2B environment.
  • Experience supporting data centers and mission critical electrical infrastructure (grey/white space ecosystems, commissioning/startup environments, or power services).
  • Prior involvement in services offer commercialization, post‑order execution models, or lifecycle services.
  • Experience partnering with IT and Digital teams on Salesforce enhancements or global deployments.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and performance insights.
  • Exposure to large, programmatic customers (e.g., hyperscale or global accounts)
  • Deep, hands‑on experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud and related service or post‑order use cases).
  • Strong understanding of commercial‑to‑execution processes, ideally within services, projects, or lifecycle‑based offerings.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a global, matrixed organization and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated capability in building structured offers: scope definition, standardization, and commercialization.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
