Job Purpose
The Procurement & Logistics Specialist - Contract Management will support the P&L Manager in Developing and Implementing contract management strategies. Effectively manage their portfolio of contracted supplier after the contract finalisation.
This will be a 24 month Fix Term Contract.
In this role, you will:
- Managing a a category of business area independently to ensure that business needs and corporate interests are met. Develop and maintain a detailed supplier database for assigned category
- Actively involved with the sourcing and the Business Unit in issues pertaining to disputes and penalties providing contract data; supplier performance reports; contract spend; supplier financial status and recommendations for contract, service level agreement or specification changes
- Establish and maintain a supplier relationship management program in order to recognize supplier performance and highlight any performance related concerns.
- Ensure supplier compliance with the relevant safety, security, quality, and any other regulations of the Emirates Group.
- Ensure contract management process is completed as per company standards. Manage the complete Contract Management Process.
- Develop and prepare comprehensive supplier performance reports and share it with the stakeholders as per the agreed SLA.
- Proactively engage, and seek to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including other departments within the Emirates Group and suppliers.
- Generate management information reports related to contracts on a monthly basis and share it with the relevant sourcing team
Qualification
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 5+ years' experience in fields of finance or procurement. Evidence of continual professional development through a recognised professional body such as The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Experience in procurement and contracts domains
Knowledge/skills:
- Understanding of market trends and sound business judgement
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Analysis skills
- Generic applications/systems knowledge
- Recommended International Qualifications:
- MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, CSMP, CPSM, IPSCMI qualifications (CIPP, CPPP, CISCP, CICCM, CIPN, CITLP, CISM, CMPO)
- Master Degree or Bachelor Degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, MBA ? equivalent to CIPS or MCIPS depends on grade
