About the Role

This role will ensure high-quality storytelling across multiple platforms, strengthening the Culture Sectors visibility and positioning locally, regionally, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

As the Content Development Section Head, you will:

• Provide Strategic Leadership: Define and execute content strategies aligned with the Culture Sectors marketing objectives and DCTs vision.
• Drive Content Excellence: Oversee the planning, production, and approval of engaging content across digital, print, and multimedia channels, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
• Enhance Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partnersincluding agencies, media outlets, and contributorsto deliver compelling content that amplifies cultural programs.
• Innovate for Engagement: Integrate emerging storytelling techniques and formats (video, interactive media, immersive content) while leveraging audience insights to boost engagement.
• Lead & Develop Teams: Mentor and manage the Content Development Section team, oversee budgets and resources, and ensure timely delivery of impactful content.
• Uphold Standards: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, values, and EHS (Occupational Safety and Health) requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 57 years of experience in content creation, marketing communications, or media, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in content strategy, storytelling, and brand communication.
• Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and multiple priorities.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity with an international outlook.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-focused mindset.
