The role in brief...
An exciting role within a rapidly expanding company joining at a fantastic time for career development with the opportunity to work on a global scale with one of DragonPass major client.
The Key Account Director will play a key role leading the relationship between theclient and DragonPass, able to integrate seamlessly into a long-term partnership founded on a collaborative philosophy and with a desire for market leading innovation.They will be able to establish relationships quickly with key stakeholders internally and externally through their ability to build rapport and adapt their style to different personalities. They have a motivation to understand the workings of the business across multiple functions as they take pride in being seen as an expert in their field with a real passion for supporting their client (alongside the interests of their business).
The Key Account Director will have a proven ability to lead a $100m+/year global account with recognisable YoY growth across multiple products and regions. They will have a passion to support further growth by taking pride in understanding their clients objectives and knowing how DragonPass offerings can help to achieve them.
They have a commercial mindset with a proven ability to lead complex negotiations, recommend new commercial models and handle the contracting process with the support of legal teams. A proactive but patient mentality will be essential as well as a passion for developing their team to create a high performing unit that works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and is committed to upholding the highest standards with the client.
The Account Director will have a strategic mindset, is confident in portraying their strategy and inspiring others to follow their ideas whilst also embracing feedback from broader stakeholders. They have a proven ability to forecast the annual performance of an account with strong P&L experience recognising trends, identifying opportunities and weaknesses to overlay this into their overall strategy.
The Account Director recognises their influential position can be used as a positive force for change both as an ambassador of the business externally as well as a mentor for others internally and is willing to support and guide those directly and indirectly involved on their account.

Working with...- Internal: Account Management team, project managers; C-suite stakeholders, creative and technical teams and Finance/accounts
- External: Client product and project teams; VP and above level stakeholders
- Key Account Director will report into the Global Head of Clients
- Managing & developing a team of Account Managers across the globe improving their own skillset and helping them develop a growth mindset
- Building strong working relationships with client and company contacts across multiple departments globally
- Coordinating internal stakeholders and teams to grow the account, foster long term relationships, resolve client queries & manage escalations in a professional and timely manner
- Leading the strategic direction of the account, sharing and formulating the vision with multiple internal stakeholders
- Attending client meetings including weekly meetings & leading QBR's face to face
- Gathering relevant data to support the development ofcommunication strategies, sales strategies and account growth as well as problem solving and dispute resolution
- Preparing materials for presenting a varying range of documentation from pre-sell materials to performance analysis or market insight
- Supporting the development of creative work by documenting client feedback andattending creative review meetings internally
- Clearly communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external senior stakeholders
- Forecast and track client account metrics to optimise revenue potential
- Monitoring project deadlines and budgets, identifying and communicating potentialchanges that may be required.
- Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
