Job Description

Info Arab Media FZ-LLC / Al Mashhad is seeking a Library and Media Assistant Manager to join our existing Technology Team in the Headquarter located in Dubai, UAE. The Library and Media Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the Media Services functions of IP Contributions feeds in NOC-MCR, Tape Library, Storage media management with cloud storage connects in the TV Channel workflow.

You will be responsible for managing and supervising content contributions for programs and News related content; Additionally, you will be required to support bespoke broadcast focused applications. You will be working in a highly pressured 24-hour news environment where the requirements and level of support will be varied and challenging.

Media services Asst Manager will assist in managing the cataloguing, storing, and optimising of all internal / external program assets and news agency assets. The Media Manager will be a technical professional with excellent organization and asset management skills optimising the TV Channel digital workflow while demonstrating superior client management.

Requirements

The selected candidate should have the following requirements:

Understanding IP Technologies, Video codecs, formats, MCR functions, File workflow, LTO Tape library and storage management.
Helps troubleshoot issues that arise in the Broadcast Software Operations environment.
Manages Media/Library specialists to monitor efficiency for Fast and First content deliverables across distribution platforms including web, social, TV transmission.
Responsible for the timely identification/resolution of network/customer faults and outages as well as supporting the overall NOC mission.

Maintains uptodate internal databases and systems, and assists in documentation requirements Applications experience: Multicast, Video Codecs and bandwidth, IPTV, NAS Systems. Knowledge of TCP and UDP based content transferring over an IP network.

Knowledge and experience of most of the above technologies, in a live environment and an indepth knowledge of IP is essential.

Experience within network operations or customer support role
Strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum of 5 years experience in metadata Management.
Good written and spoken English
Demonstrable experience in managing Media Asset Management Systems (MAM) across multiple broadcast and media formats
Experience in Broadcast Media Operations
Working knowledge and proven experience in managing digital assets from storage, filing and distribution and tracking use
Experience in delivering high quality services to clients
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring quality of output
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team with a positive attitude
Proven experience working at international program acquisition functions.
Experience working in and with large corporations
Have experience in building quality working relationships with colleagues and internal / external stakeholders/clients

Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or similar
