Overview
A disruptive Technology Consultancy in Abu Dhabi is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across its Cyber Security solutions and services portfolio. This role is ideal for someone ambitious with deep Cyber Security expertise, a consultative sales approach, and a track record of success in enterprise and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in cybersecurity across enterprise and regulated sectors.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, serving as a strategic advisor on cybersecurity needs.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and proposal development to deal closure and account expansion.
- Collaborate with technical teams to craft tailored solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Deliver persuasive solution pitches, product demos, and RFP responses.
- Stay informed on cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics.
- Represent the organization at industry events and forums to enhance visibility and build partnerships.
- Support revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic sales reporting.
- Contribute to go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and marketing initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or enterprise sales, with at least 3 years focused on Cyber Security.
- Proven success selling offerings such as GRC platforms, vCISO services, SOC operations, penetration testing, or cloud security tools.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and enterprise security challenges.
- Experience working with regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government) is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in business terms to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Cybersecurity Domains: DLP, EDR, Cloud Security, Compliance (ISO, NIST, SOC 2)
- Sales Tools: CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), proposal automation, pipeline analytics
- Go-to-Market: RFP/RFI response management, value proposition development, competitive positioning
- Cloud Ecosystems: Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and GCP security services
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or relevant vendor sales credentials
