Senior Construction Engineer, HSE
Location: Abu Dhabi
We are looking for experienced PMC Senior Construction Engineer – HSE with a strong background in oil & gas construction, brownfield modifications, and live plant environments, for an Onshore project based in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and monitor construction HSE activities across all assigned projects
- Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements, project specifications, and statutory regulations
- Supervise EPC contractor performance from site safety and construction HSE perspective
- Review and approve construction method statements, JSA, risk assessments, lifting plans, and PTW documentation
- Conduct site audits, inspections, incident investigations, and safety walkdowns
- Support brownfield tie-in and live plant construction safety management
- Coordinate with PMC, contractor, and client teams for safe project execution
- Drive HSE awareness, toolbox talks, and proactive safety culture at site
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Professional HSE certification preferred (NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent)
- Extensive experience in construction HSE within oil & gas onshore projects
- Prior PMC / ADNOC Onshore experience highly preferred
- Strong experience in brownfield, tie-in, demolition, and facility modification projects
- Sound knowledge of permit-to-work systems and live operational site safety
- Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills
