Role Description

As a BIM Coordinator, you will oversee multidisciplinary coordination, manage model integration, and resolve clashes while addressing high-level technical challenges. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the success of BIM-related projects.

1. Model Integration and Coordination

• Coordinate the integration of models across multiple disciplines to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all model-related coordination tasks.

1. Clash Detection and Resolution

• Utilize tools like Navisworks, BIM 360, or Revit for clash detection and resolution.
• Implement strategies to address and resolve clashes effectively.

1. Technical Problem-Solving

• Identify and address high-level technical challenges related to BIM workflows.
• Provide innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of BIM processes.

1. Leadership and Mentorship

• Lead BIM coordination meetings and provide clear guidance to team members.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.

1. Project-Specific Coordination

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure BIM processes align with project requirements and objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project-specific BIM standards and practices.

Qualifications and Skills Expected:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Expertise in BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or Revit.
• Experience with scripting tools like Dynamo or Grasshopper is a plus.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and integration techniques.

• Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Leadership capabilities to guide and mentor team members.
• Advanced problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.

• Prior academic experience with BIM software is an advantage.
• Certification in BIM tools will be beneficial.
