Industrial Hygienist Technician

Job Description

United Safety is looking to hire an Industrial Hygienist Technician for our operations in UAE.

Major responsibilities, include but not limited to:

• Develop and implement a complete Industrial Hygiene plan to interface with the Health Safety Environment Management Systems (HSEMS) plan.
• Evaluate and control the risk of ill health due to exposure of industrial processes.
• Advice on required monitoring equipment.
• Conduct or oversee the completion of workplace assessments and recommend corrective actions as required.
• Develop assessments ensuring all aspects of industrial hygiene requirements are captured.
• Prepare Reports that include analysis of agents, recommendations for control, and corrective actions.
• Interpret and advice on remedial action regarding monitoring results.
• Participate in investigations into suspected work exposure related health concerns.
• Advice and provide technical guidance and recommendations on how to correct hazardous conditions.
• Develop techniques to anticipate and control potentially dangerous situations in the workplace.
• Advice management and clients on regulatory compliance, standards, health hazard and risk assessment and control requirements.
• Interpret regulations, codes, and legislative standards as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Education: a degree/diploma in Industrial or Occupational Hygiene.
• Experience: 2-5 years of IH experience.
