Senior Manager Supply Chain Management – Coordination & Disposition (m/f/d)

You will take ownership of supplier relationships, manage demand-driven procurement and delivery coordination, and ensure that our customers receive their goods on time - every time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Responsibilities, You will:
- Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers and freight forwarders, organizing all aspects of transportation and delivery
- Prepare quotations and review order confirmations
- Coordinate resources with a focus on meeting deadlines and staying within budget
- Manage inbound and outbound logistic flows, plan deliveries, and optimize warehouse utilization
- Support the monitoring and proactive improvement of supply chain processes
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality standards
- Conduct data analysis to identify optimization opportunities
- Analyze market and sales data to support informed decision-making
Strategic Responsibilities, You will:
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability
- Develop and apply inventory management strategies to prevent shortages or overstock
- Maintain accurate inventory reports and perform regular stock audits
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist in creating demand forecasts and production plans
Requirements:
Education:- Completed Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Additional certifications or training in logistics, wholesale, or international trade management are a plus
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or a related field
- Initial leadership experience is considered advantageous
- Deep understanding of inventory management, disposition, and process optimization
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP (ideally SAP Business One)
- Familiarity with demand planning tools like Netstock, Streamline, or SAP IBP
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Native-level in English (required); German language skills are a strong asset
- Team-oriented with a structured, independent work style
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Strong analytical mindset with a high affinity for numbers
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
