Job Description

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Accounts Payable across a portfolio of 12 hotels, growing to 20, within a centralised shared-service environment.

The role manages a high-volume AP function (circa 1,400 invoices per month, expected to double) and requires deep hotel sector experience to balance operational demands with strong financial control and governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full AP lifecycle across multiple hotels and legal entities.
  • Oversee processing of operational hotel invoices (utilities, F&B, linen, housekeeping, maintenance, commissions).
  • Lead payment runs and ensures suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
  • Enforce PO compliance, approval limits and delegation of authority.
  • Lead and develop a remote, cross-country shared-service AP team.
  • Act as escalation point for hotel GMs, procurement and suppliers.
  • Deliver clean, disciplined month-end close including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Maintain strong controls, audit readiness and supplier master data governance.
  • Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
Experience & Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years AP experience within hotel / hospitality; qualified accountant preferred.
  • 4+ years in an AP Manager / Lead role in a multi-hotel environment.
  • Proven high-volume AP experience (1,000+ invoices per month).
  • Experience supporting multiple operating entities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of hotel cost structures and supplier dynamics.
  • ERP experience in a hotel environment (NetSuite or similar).
  • Experience in a centralised / shared-service finance model.
  • Strong month-end discipline and control mindset.
