Junio User Interface / Front-End Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior User Interface / Front-End Developer with strong expertise in web development, WordPress customization, and UI design, combined with knowledge of security practices and technical support. The role requires hands-on experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, WordPress, and modern front-end frameworks, with additional exposure to databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and back-end technologies (PHP, NodeJS).

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and interactive digital content.
• Implement and enhance user interfaces to ensure functionality, performance, and usability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot applications and systems as needed.
• Conduct security testing, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments to safeguard software and infrastructure.
• Manage system updates, patches, and security measures to prevent and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Prepare and update technical documentation, including security guidelines, and deliver training when required.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and best practices in development tasks.
• Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to improve overall user experience.
• Administer and support Linux and Windows environments for operating systems and networking.
• Work with encryption, authentication, and security protocols (e.g., TLS/SSL, OAuth, PKI).
• Monitor logs for unauthorized access attempts, malicious activity, and system changes, applying corrective measures.
• Detect, monitor, and respond to cyberattacks (e.g., brute-force attempts).
• Oversee cloud and load-balancing security, ensuring system integrity.
• Conduct plugin compatibility testing before live deployment and manage WordPress updates.
• Assemble, install, and configure information security systems (hardware, firmware, applications).
• Provide security consultancy and risk assessments for new projects and initiatives.
• Support distributed systems in microservice infrastructures using Docker and Linux containers.
• Collaborate on API design and implementation, ensuring scalability and secure integration.

• Ability to build WordPress websites from scratch (without themes).
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Ability to develop custom layouts, APIs, plugins, widgets, and themes.
• Experience with CSS frameworks and writing JavaScript for dynamic interactivity in WordPress.
• Strong PHP back-end development skills (plugin customization, data manipulation).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data formats (JSON, XML).
• Ability to write secure, standards-compliant code.
• Optimize websites in line with Google policies.
• Deploy websites using SFTP, Git, or TFS.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in web/UI development.

• Full-Stack Frameworks: Meteor, MeanJS, Zend Framework
• Back-End Technologies: PHP, NodeJS
• Front-End Technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Blaze, React, Handlebars, ES6 (ECMAScript)
