We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor- Buildings in our Abu Dhabi office.
Role Purpose
Quantity Take off from the tender documentsin line with the Standard Method of Measurement, Prepare Subcontractor Packages etc.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the quantity take off is accurate and in line with the preamble and method of measurement for the given tender
Closely liaison with the Estimating team / Estimator in assisting him / her by providing quantities in order for them to price
Closely liaise with the 3rd party QS team and receive timely QTO to assist the Estimator,
Ensure scope gaps between drawings / specification and Bill of Quantities are identified and TQ raised for clarifications / qualified as part of the tender submission.
When required, prepare and issue subcontractor package for sending out / procuring packages
Clarify any TQ's raised by the 3rd Party QS team and or vendors
Prepare / Tabulate quotes received from the subcontractors and review them to ensure compliance with the tender drawings/ specifications and advise the estimator.
Ensure Tender Addendums / PTC documents are sent out to the procurement teams I
vendors as process to ensure/ compliance with documentations etc.,Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying
Minimum 5-7 Years
Project Execution Experience with Minimum 2-3 Years working with the Estimation Team.
Computer Literate i.e, MS Office, AutoCad, Planswift, Blue Beam etc.,Logical and well organised with ability to prioritise.
Presentation skills - Written and Verbal.
Positive response to pressure.
Technically competent, good analytical skills.
Inspires challenges and motivates others.
Works collaboratively.
