Chief Business Support Officer (CBSO)
Position Summary
The Chief Business Support Officer (CBSO) is responsible for leading and integrating all corporate support functions to enable business growth, operational efficiency, and organizational excellence.
This role oversees Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Excellence, ensuring these functions operate strategically and efficiently to support business operations and expansion plans.
This role serves as a key member of the executive leadership team and drives, process improvement, service quality, and people capability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement support function strategies aligned with overall business goals
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on organizational priorities, growth initiatives, and transformation programs
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement
- Human Resources
- Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, and succession planning
- Ensure HR policies, compliance, and employee relations are managed effectively
- Strengthen leadership capability and organizational development
- Information Technology
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, digital tools, and technology roadmap
- Ensure technology supports operational efficiency, customer service, and data-driven decision-making
- Drive digital transformation initiatives
- Business Excellence
- Lead process improvement, quality management, KPI governance, and operational excellence initiatives
- Implement best practices, policies, and controls across functions
- Monitor organizational performance and recommend improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, HR, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 20+ years of progressive leadership experience with exposure to multiple support functions
- Experience in real estate, property development, construction, or asset management preferred
