Consultant Pediatric Pulmonologist – Saudi Arabia

Job Description

As a Paediatric Pulmonology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing specialised medical care to children with respiratory diseases and disorders. You will work with a team of highly trained healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat various respiratory conditions in children, including asthma, bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis.

This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Chief of Paediatrics.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans for children with respiratory conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lung function tests and X-rays
Prescribe medication and provide appropriate follow-up care
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Stay updated on new developments and treatment options in the field of paediatric pulmonology
Educate patients and their families on proper management and prevention of respiratory conditions
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

Requirements

Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in paediatric pulmonology
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paediatric Pulmonology Consultant
In-depth knowledge of respiratory diseases and disorders in children
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
Valid medical license in Saudi Arabia
The candidate must have received Western training or education
