Senior Associate – Interior Design (Mixed-Use & Commercial)

We are working with a fast-growing, highly creative design studio in Dubai known for delivering bold, contemporary mixed-use and commercial projects. With a collaborative, non-hierarchical culture, the studio is driven by strong design thinking, fresh ideas, and a hands-on approach from leadership.

The Senior Associate – Interior Design will operate at the intersection of design leadership, client management, and project delivery, working directly with the studio owners.
You will take ownership of key projects, lead client relationships, and mentor a growing team—while remaining actively involved in the creative process.
Creative Leadership- Lead concept design through to delivery on mixed-use and commercial projects
- Drive innovative, design-led solutions aligned with the studio's aesthetic
- Review and elevate design output across multiple projects
- Stay hands-on with design development, FF&E, and spatial planning
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients
- Present concepts and design strategies with confidence and clarity
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Manage expectations, feedback, and project direction at senior level
- Oversee project timelines, resourcing, and delivery milestones
- Mentor and guide mid-level and junior designers
- Collaborate closely with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure quality, consistency, and attention to detail across all deliverables
- Work closely with the founders on strategy, growth, and team development
- Contribute to pitches, proposals, and new business opportunities
- Help shape studio processes, culture, and creative direction
- Requirements
- 8–12+ years experience in interior design, with strong exposure to mixed-use and commercial projects
- Proven experience in a client-facing leadership role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept strength and built work
- Experience working in the UAE or international design studios
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, etc.; Revit advantageous)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Design-driven with a strong creative point of view
- Commercially aware and confident managing clients
- Collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Natural leader who enjoys mentoring and developing teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in growing a studio
- Work directly with founders in a highly visible leadership role
